Hi, I’m a 47-year-old on a journey of starting over—new state, new job, new beliefs, and new relationships. Life recently turned upside down, and I created this blog as a safe space to process the chaos inside my head, heart, and soul, connect with others, and invite a little hope into each day. I tend to hyperfixate on whatever catches my interest, so you’ll find a mix of stories, letters to loved ones (and sometimes to those who’ve hurt me, or even to quirky, unexpected subjects), and poetry that helps me make sense of it all.
My goal is to shine a light on the daily bits of magic and glimmers of hope that keep us going. I welcome your thoughts, your stories, and your feedback—even if it’s not always positive. If sharing my journey helps even one person feel less alone, then it’s all worth it. You’re invited to join me as we navigate the messy, beautiful process of starting fresh together.
I hyperfixate on a wide variety of things. I want to share the letters I write to the people I have loved and who have loved me, and to those who have hurt me. Yet some of the letters are to people, places, and things that may seem weird. I sometimes write poetry to express myself. I am still, even after all of this, trying to find the magic each day. The glimmers that are out there. Join me on this journey, share your thoughts. If one thing I write or share helps one person, then it was worth it. I know I might be met with negative feedback, but we always regret the things we did not do, did not try so… why not here goes……..Okay, Love You Bye.
